Youth restored. I mean you’d have to go through the motions of losing people you love and wars and times of hardship and things, so that’d be pretty bad. As long as you *were* able to die when it was time, I could do that. I wouldn’t want to find my soulmate and then at the end of my life *have* to go back to the age of 5 and never see them again because you spent a lifetime together.

And you’d be able to experience everything, you know? There wouldn’t be such a ‘time limit’ on you, you could go down one path for your life, maybe I’d go into marine biology for one lifetime and learn it all. And then I’d go into psychology. And then art. And everything I’d want to try out and find out what I really want to do. I’d earn money and learn where it needs to go and give it where it’s needed. Jeez it would be amazing.

And then I’d write it all up.

And then I’d be done, and I’d want to die because I’ve seen everything brilliant and horrible and amazing in the world, and it’s been done, and I can remember it and I’d have time to write it all down so that it’s all there, it all happened, it’d be fact. 

It’d probably be hard having that much knowledge and going back to the age of 5 after a lifetime and then being treated like a child for the next 15 years and having to spend 15 years going through the motions of school again and not being trusted with things. That would piss me off a great deal.

As long as this power didn’t mean going back in time to the year that you were 5 in the first place. If you grew to an old age and then reset it and be the age 5 in the same year that you were old, so you’d keep going.

Even though you’d get to see the people you loved and lost again, I think that could be worse than losing them. It’d be tempting to go back and see the people you missed again, but you’d know there was a time limit, you’d know when and why it was going to happen and if we go by the rules of time that we all seem to stick to in theory then there’d be nothing you could do to stop it, and you’d break your heart every time.

Better to live and love someone, and remember them well, than to live and love and lose and then do it over and over and just hurt yourself more with the knowledge. 

I’d take up sport and do ninja things and have the adventures that you only read about in story books. That’s the world I’d want to get to.

And now this is making me very sad because it’s not going to happen and I have a time limit again.
